68/365: New Shoes
Today the 24 week training program kicks off for the Twin Cities 3-Day for the Cure. I picked up new shoes last week, but trained with the old ones today. I wore these around the house for a few hours to make sure they didn't need to be exchanged. They will go on their first training walk Thursday!! In a few weeks I will pick up another pair so I can rotate them during training & have a back up pair for the actual event!Monday, March 8, 2010

66/365: Second Base Soldiers Logo
Skipping a photo today to show off our team's snazzy new logo!
Our logo was created by Tina Seifer. Tina is a 3-Day ambassador/walker who is using her talent & passion for the graphic arts to raise money for the Susan G. Komen 3-Day for the Cure! You can see some of her talent here & here. (Pardon the language in the second link.)
