An awesome supper tonight -- baked potato bar! This is mine topped with chili leftover from last night, melted cheese, sour cream, and chives. It was divine. So divine that I will use up the last of the chili on another baked potato for lunch tomorrow.

Light post & tree shadows on garage door.

I have "seen" these shadows nearly every sunny afternoon since we have lived in this house which is nearly 9 years, and it wasn't until this fall that I thought it would make a great picture. This afternoon I took action on that thought & am glad I did!

It wasn't my intention to post a picture of Boomer again. However, while I was taking pictures today, he refused to sit still. Even though he moved in this shot I love the how his eye is in focus yet you get the feeling of movement from the "blurred" areas.

I'm joining the Project 365 craze which means I will be taking pictures every single day for the next 365 days and will post at least one here.

I think this will be a fun way to keep track of what happened throughout the year. Not just the milestones & out of the ordinary events, but also the day to day things we tend to easily forget. I also know that the only way to get better at taking pictures is to do it! :)
